     Josie Palmer Leavitt

Josie joined the HBRANV in March 2012.  Ms. Palmer Leavitt earned an Associates in PR & Communications and General Business & Merchandising from Champlain College.  She also earned her Certified Green Professional Designation through the HBRANV.  With a diverse background from permitting, project management, real estate, sales and marketing, she brings a wealth of knowledge and energy to the Association.  Josie was born, raised and is currently residing in Hinesburg with her husband and two daughters.

 

 

    Meaghan Cormier

Meaghan graduated from Saint Michael's College in 2011 with a degree in Psychology.  She began her business career at the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce, where she was the Administrative Coordinator and Tourism Specialist.  After spending some time abroad, she joined the team at the HBRANV as the Director of Membership and Events.

 

Meaghan believes that an association is nothing without the support of it's members. Her goal for the HBRANV is to reach out to, not only potential members, but to current members as well to make sure every member is making the most of their membership!

 

 

 

    Penny Weightman

Associate Liaison

Penny J. Weightman joined the HBRANV staff in October 2012 as our Associate Liaison.  Penny is quoted as saying, “I believe that one’s career should not be a “job”, but rather an extension of one’s life, in the manner of ideals, goals, ethos, passion and integrity”.  Penny brings with her a varied background of educational skills, gained from Trinity College, Burlington College and The Community College of Vermont. Penny has also continued her professional development training through The Patricia A. Hannaford Center and the Mary Johnston Child Development Center. Penny’s life experiences include advocacy, early education teaching, administrative assistance, banking, IT applications and medical insurance billing. 

Penny currently resides in a rustic farm house circa 1800, in Starksboro, Vermont, with her two sons and menagerie of rescue animals.  Penny enjoys spending time with her family and pets, listening to her melodious babbling brook, reading, practicing yoga and tending to her flower and vegetable gardens.
