The Central Vermont Regional Council was formed over seven years ago to provide members of the HBRANV who live and work in the Washington county area with networking and educational benefits in their area. This council currently holds membership mixers, a Thunder Road Summer Event, and currently are working on a Lydonville Vermont Irene Project.
Thunder Road Event:
Scheduled: June 27, 2013 (Rain Date: June 28, 2013)
Location: Thunder Road 80 Fischer Road, Barre Vermont
Time: Gates Open: 5 PM; BBQ: 6 PM; Race Starts: 6:30 PM
Cost: $20/per adult $12/per child

LYDONVILLE PROJECT:
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Central Vermont Council is working with Central Vermont Community Action Council to assist a family in need of help with their house that was damaged due to the IRENE Flooding.
CALL TO ACTION FROM ALL OUR HBRANV MEMBERS - please if you can donate time, materials it is for a great cause!

The Cause:
HBRANV's Central Council is working with Community Action to help restore a home in Lyndonville that was destroyed by the flooding.
The Story:
A single father, with one child, in Lyndonville lost his home after the Irene flooding. He has rebuilt most of it on his own but the house is not yet livable. Community Action was put in place to help restore homes and will lose their federal funding in a couple of months. As the Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Northern Vermont, we want to step up to help this family have their home back.

Contact Meaghan Cormier at (802) 876-6200 to donate time or materials. We are looking to do the bulk of this project the first weekend in June but we can be flexible with schedules so we can get this project finished for them!
